Hope in the Community
REBECCA CIRCLE
Rebecca Circle gathers on the first Monday of each month (excluding holidays) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Participants bring their own lunch, and dessert is shared afterwards. The group’s Bible study is guided by the "Gather" magazine. Published by Women of the ELCA, Gather features a variety of articles, theological reflections, devotions, and stories that offer both comfort and challenge, encouraging readers to grow in faith and participate actively in ministry.
MEN’S BREAKFAST
Men’s Breakfast is held at Sara’s Kitchen at 1595 Franklin Street in Santa Clara on the first Friday of each month at 9:00am for food and fellowship. All are welcome, including women.
BOY SCOUT TROOP 74
Troup 74 meets every Monday evening from 7:00pm-8:00pm in Knudsen Hall. They have been with Hope since 1956 (over 70 years ago) when Hope came into existence. There are several plaques with the names of Troop 74 Eagle Scouts throughout the facility.

FAIR TRADE MINISTRY
Hope Lutheran has been partnering with Equal Exchange in support of fair trade and small farmers for over 25 years. Our support of this ministry helps small farmers worldwide by providing a stable price for coffee, tea, and chocolate despite market fluctuations. This, in turn, allows the small farmers to form co-ops, enabling them to pool resources to provide for teachers, hospitals, and new buildings for their communities. Equal Exchange also works closely with the farmers to help them grow their crops both organically and sustainably. If you are interested in purchasing organic, fairly traded coffee, tea, chocolate, or other products you can visit the Equal Exchange website at: https://shop.equalexchange.coop/
ENCOMPASS MINISTRIES
Encompass Ministry is an integral part of the blessings to Hope. We have made great strides providing for the less fortunate. It is our dedicated volunteers that show up week after week and help making food, drink, and hygiene packets; sorting clothes; and distributing items at various sites.
